About CZARI
My name is Czarina Kwong, and I am a model and the founder of CZARI, a slow fashion brand creating sustainably made clothing in the heart of Los Angeles. My journey has been anything but traditional—I was born and raised in the Philippines, and as a Filipino immigrant, I’ve had to carve out my own path in an industry that often feels unattainable for someone like me.
Modeling introduced me to the world of fashion, but I always knew I wanted to do more than just wear beautiful clothes—I wanted to create them. I launched CZARI with a deep appreciation for design, storytelling, and sustainability. I believe fashion should be intentional, and every piece should feel like an extension of the person wearing it. That’s why I prioritize high-quality materials and ethical production, ensuring that each garment is made with purpose.
Building a brand from the ground up while navigating my modeling career hasn’t been easy, but it has been the most fulfilling journey. I want to inspire other young women—especially those who don’t come from privilege—to believe in their vision, trust their creativity, and chase after what truly sets their soul on fire.
